FurVEST is the official admission exam for members of the NextFUR Foundation and its ecosystems. It was created to identify talent, test analytical ability, and select people willing to contribute voluntarily to projects such as FurSMP and other foundation initiatives.
More than a test, FurVEST works as proof of genuine interest, commitment, and readiness to operate inside an organized community structure.

What is FurVEST?
Self-described as the first furry exam for the furry community, FurVEST was created to select people capable of strengthening NextFUR Foundation projects in a secular, safe, and prejudice-free environment. The focus is not only raw performance, but consistency, interpretation, logic, and responsibility.
Its impact is especially relevant inside FurSMP, a massive Minecraft-based virtual RPG server that has already gathered more than 1,500 Discord members and more than 700 registered players. The exam exists to ensure team growth happens in an organized, rigorous, and institutionally aligned way.

Since being introduced by NextFUR's founders, FurVEST has moved beyond experimentation and now operates as a recurring selection process with scale and clearly defined sectors.

The candidate starts with a score of 10 and loses points for grammar mistakes, lack of clarity, shallow answers, or going off topic. It is the first reading of posture and communication.

FurVEST measures interpretation, technical command, and the ability to solve problems under time pressure, acting as the objective filter before the following subjective reviews.

The interview deepens repertoire, availability, posture, and compatibility with the real demands of the projects and sectors seeking new members.

FurGuard is used as a source for verifying community background, including bans, message records, and overall player behavior inside the ecosystem.

The final decision goes through an anonymous vote by the council of assistants and leaders, consolidating objective and subjective evidence before admission.
Exam structure
Historically, the exam is online, limited to two hours, and designed to demand concentration, careful reading, and structured reasoning. The difficulty can range from historical and philosophical references to mathematical logic and programming logic.

The exam is carried out entirely online, maintaining a standardized format for application and correction inside the official selection process.
